City Ready for League Opener at Immingham Town

Doncaster City begin their 2026/27 Northern Counties East League Division One campaign on Saturday with an away fixture against Immingham Town.

City travel to the Woodlands Sports Ground on Saturday, 25 July, with kick-off at 3pm.

The fixture marks the start of a new league season following a busy summer of preparation for John Powney and his squad.

Several new players have joined the club during pre-season, while a programme of friendly fixtures has given the management team an opportunity to prepare the group for the competitive campaign.

City’s final four recorded pre-season results included a 6–2 victory away at Denaby Main, draws against Rossington Main and Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, and a 3–0 defeat at Ilkley Town in the final friendly.

Attention now turns fully towards Saturday and the opportunity to make a positive start to the new season.

Supporters travelling to the game are encouraged to arrive early and get behind the team from the opening whistle.
